Given an Emmy for his work on American Horror Story: Asylum, Zachary Quinto became well known for his work in the Star Trek reboot with his role as Spock. In 2011 Quinto came out as gay, citing the suicide of teen Jamey Rodemeyer, as a motivation for him to show the normalcy of what it is to be within the LGBTQ community. Since this time, he has been an active outspoken supporter of gay rights. Upcoming in 2017, he stars in the drama film Aardvark as Josh Norman.
