15. Two words: clay bar.

So you’re going all out with the exterior – wash, rinse, dry, wax. Before polishing or waxing, you need to remove any particles (dirt, residue, bugs, etc.) left over on your car. You don’t want to seal those in! For this, you need a clay bar. Squeeze it in your hand to soften it up before rubbing it on lubricated areas to remove buildup.
