11. Unable to detect sarcasm

As we know, detecting sarcasm is a sign of a healthy and sharp brain. Constantly failing to recognize a lie, a sarcastic joke, or other apparent phoney act, taking it too seriously and too far is a sign of emaciation of the brain. The part of the brain, hippocampus, responsible for short-term memory is affected and that is why it comes to this manifestation. These signals should be an alert to the person and the closest family, that Alzheimer’s may be the causative factor. Maybe this is a surprising and unexpected sign, but has been proven to be true and present at most of the patients.
